Location is great and had decent amenities however, I think the plumbing may need to be checked as there was an awful smell in the bathroom for the entirety of the stay. Also, we were only provided with half a loo roll for a 4 night stay.

Beautiful hotel nice rooms comfortable right next to the train and bus station but neither one of these cause any excess noise with the stay

Room was clean, bed comfortable, but there was no hair drier in the room , I asked staff 3 times to provide it , but no result. Finally my colleague has loan it to me from his room. The was noticed that they have good breakfast, in fat they do not serv breakfasts at all.

Amazing location, lovely little town and so easy and quick to cologne by train. Based on location alone i would have given 10/10. Rooms were huge, however we were in a room with slanted room so very tricky to move around. Room was quite dirty, tv didnt work, no wifi, no aircon. For the price you cannot grumble.

The hotel was very close to the train station. Also Pulheim is a great and peaceful village even though it is 15 minute away from Köln Center. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. When we ask for a warmer room, they give us a heater and next day they changed our room! It is a budgetfriendly hotel and you will get what you pay basically. It met our expectations. In a nutshell, I would prefer here again if I visit Köln someday.

Cheap friendly and clean

Staff very friendly and stayed until I arrived for the check-in. The room was very small and the window looked out onto the car park. Overnight this was open and people were loud right outside the window.

Nicevhotel. Great location

Really good sized room and bathroom. Close to town centre and railway station (though the trains were always late). Dont really see staff other than check in. Room is only cleaned if you request it,which was fine but perhaps could empty rubbish bins daily?? The town itself is peaceful and quaint yet only two stops from the buzz of Koln on the train.

The location and price is a great option, but the service has room for improvement. Cleanliness was not bad, but something felt wrong because a lot of flies were at the room.

The location was great- with close proximity to cologne via the train. Our difficult came with reception only being there from 3-7 Sunday and 3-9 m-sat. We had a broken toilet and shower but couldn’t reach anyone. So we cannot comment on how they would have responded. The bed was uncomfortable but that’s our personal opinion- we felt very springy and the bed frame slats were broken on one side so my husband had to fix them. We did also have to wait 30 min after check in time for our room to be finished by housekeeping. The cleanliness was good though. I wouldn’t avoid the property but keep in mind the limited reception times.

Bad stay

I was really disappointed with my stay at Hotel Vintage. I was specifically contact and told a couple of days before that check in needed to be in person and could only be at certain times (before 9pm). I therefore went out of my way to get to the hotel at 5pm, only to find reception entirely locked up with no lights on etc., despite a sign on the door saying it should be open. The hotel’s contact number doesn’t work and I had emailed prior to arrive to check the timings of check in and got no response. After 20 mins of checking the hotel site a guest actually had to come and help me and access reception using their key, at which point a staff member in the hotel then decided to help checking in. I was asked to pay a second time for my pre-paid room. The room itself was ok, but has no air-con and only small windows. There was also no fridge to keep any water cold. As such the room was sweltering with no ways to cool myself down. As such I barely slept a wink. I would not return. The location is great, 30 seconds walk from Pulheim which is 15 mins on the train to Köln Hbf (when the trains run!)

I only stayed there for one night, it was more than enough for an overnight stay, I'm also happy with the parking lot right under the hotel, it's very convenient, there's a great park nearby, although small, and a pedestrian street with all the necessary stores within a 4 minute walk.
