Room was very clean and friendly staff even though they were quite busy with Euro 2024 crowd. Decor is a bit dated and bathroom quite small but clean , train station not far away and bus stop opposite side of road takes you Cologne Centre

Das Wasser in der Dusche war nicht richtig warm. Die Heizing im Bad wurde nicht warm und das Zimmer war insgesamt eher kühl, obwohl der Heizkörper auf 23° gestellt wurde.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal durchweg sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist etwas älter, was seinen eigenen Charme hat. Das Frühstücksbuffett für 10€ war sehr reichhaltig. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Uns hat es gut gefallen, wir würden wiederkommen.

Der Hotelier war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Frühstücksraum war hell und schön. Das Frühstücksbüffee war reichhaltig und appetitlich präsentiert. Gefehlt hat ein kleines glutenfreies Angebot, z.B. Haferflocken. Auch wären frische Blumen auf dem Tisch statt Plastikblumen schön gewesen. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr klein und zweckmässig.

Das das Hotel an einer verkehrsreichen Straße liegt weiss man bei der Buchung. Nachts wird es auch ruhiger. Hotel sauber, Personal und Eigentümer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im wahrsten Sinne eine „Preiswerte“ Unterkunft in direkter Nähe zu Köln. Komme bestimmt wieder.

Diverse Mängel

Das Hotel ist eins der älteren Generation und leider somit auch etwas arg veraltet. Renoviert wurde wohl schon länger nicht und wenn nur notdürftig und auch teilweise schlampig nachgearbeitet (Farb- und Klebereste). Das ganze Zimmer roch komplett feucht über die 2 Tage wo ich da war. Ich will nicht wissen wie viel Schimmel evtl in der Wand steckt. Das Bad hatte in den Fließen zumindest schwarze schimmelige Stellen und auch nach dem duschen ging die Feuchtigkeit sehr schlecht aus dem Bad (trotz Ventilator zur Abluftregulierung). Tür offen lassen hat nur bewirkt dass das Zimmer noch feuchter wurde und die Spiegel etc. beschlugen. Zimmerservice kam auch keiner um mal nach den Handtüchern oder so zu schauen. Ich weiß nicht wie die anderen Zimmer sind, aber meines hatte diverse Mängel, u.a. lief das Waschbecken nicht ab (der Hebel scheint wohl kaputt). Fazit: für 90-100€ die Nacht absolut überteuert für das was man geboten bekommt, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt leider nicht.

Wer auf den altmodischen Schick der späten 70-er Jahre steht, wird sich in den dunkelbraunen, altmodischen Möbeln und dem bahama-beige des Badezimmers sehr wohl fühlen. Das Waschbecken ist so nah an der Dachschräge, dass man sich als Rechtshänder kaum die Zähne putzen kann. Ein weiteres Abenteuer ist die Handhabung der Dusche, denn die beiden Wasserhähne lassen eine durchgängig gleiche Temperatur des Wassers nicht zu. Nicht alle Lampen waren funktionstüchtig, was für das Zimmer und die Einrichtung beinahe schmeichelhaft war. Fazit: nicht zu empfehlen, da Preis/Leistung nicht zusammenpassen.

Sehr freundliches Personal, schöne Zimmer mit Bad! Leider sind die Zimmerwände (2.OG) recht hellhörig, sodass man morgens auch hört, wenn andere Gäste früh auf dem Flur herumläuft.
