The Apartment complex is in a fantastic position, a short walk to the beach, great restaurants and a hotel (pub). The apartment was very clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the kitchen area well set up with near new fridge, dish washer, stove and microwave. We had very little contact with staff, so can't comment on service. We were surprised to be told that if you book in after a certain time (5pm?) you pay $50 late check in fee. The only issue we had was the apartment location (Apartment 1), which appeared to be intended for a manager or similar. It doesn’t get a mention on the elevator buttons. It was on the ground level, no views, except a wooden fence that separates the apartments from the railway line (the train passing at about 4am and 6am). I suspect the very limited mobile reception and poor television reception was due to the apartment being in a position. It had a door which led directly to reception and a door away from the office. You could hear most of the interactions at reception between staff and guests. However, I would definitely stay at the apartments again if I was on the top floor (I think apartments 11-14), however would not stay if given Apartment 1 again. I probably would have given the stay a 5/5 if we were in an Apartment on one of the other floors.
