"Rooms are very spacious, beds were super comfortable. It’s a 4-minute walk to the ocean. Breakfast was good not great, and the pool is small but awesome. People were great and helpful. Would definitely go back here."
"If you’re looking for ocean view privacy and a thriving local town within close proximity, book Vista Del Alma! Their breakfast menu is incredible, food and drinks are made from scratch, and each villa offers maximum privacy. Staff are extremely accommodating; the team helped my husband and I book transportation to/from the airport, renting an ATV, and listing local hotspots and restaurants to try. Tip: book a villa with a pool; you won’t be disappointed!"
"I can't recommend this hotel enough – I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute. Everything was perfect – super location, a clean, serene room with a balcony to sit out on and watch all the wildlife... Delicious breakfast and food in the restaurant (and at the moment all the football matches projected on the wall!) ... Every member of staff was kind and helpful... And so many nice touches: the lovely yoga in the open air studio... freshly baked cake every afternoon... and a to-go breakfast on my last morning as I had an early flight. Hope to be back before too long!"
"This was a short but sweet treat to one of the most beautiful coastline of Costa Rica. The staff was super friendly, everybody was helpful, accommodating, supportive, and the condition of the property as well as the food of the restaurant was very good. We traveled with our two year old toddler, and the stuff always was very kind and friendly with her while practicing for Spanish.
The coastline is beautiful, we arrived after our weather event, so the ocean was rougher than normal. Despite that hiking around the beach, walking to town was easy and beautiful.
We have a chance to visit nearby beaches, waterfalls river outlets in Cabo Blanco or within a 25 to 30 minute drive. For the most part, the roads were in good shape despite sections not having asphalt.
There was not a lot of people around the area, which also made it quite pleasant. This hotel is a gem in the region and one that also supports the local community. Highly recommended and can’t say enough good things about the place.
I guess the only two things that we would suggest is to come prepare for the mosquitoes, I’ll make sure you have good reef shoes as the rocks are pretty sharp as you walk along the different beaches.
A suggestion for the hotel would be to provide a better map of the parking location and transportation from Montezuma. This is a slightly peaky comment, as the majority of people would have no problem getting there."
"My daughter and I planned a girls trip and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff, shoutout to Sebastian and Karla, could t have been more knowledgeable and helpful. Harry the GM gave us a lot of good suggestions for local spots. We went fishing and caught mahi mahi and yellow fin and Chef made us some amazing meals from that catch. Memories for a lifetime!"
"A gem within Santa Teresa; the location, staff (Nicole, Jerry and Jeff) and value are superb.
The pool is beautiful and the rooms super comfortable (Amazing beds).
Highly recommend it!"
"Another wonderful stay at Believe. I think I’ve spent 150 nights there in past 5 years and it is always a pleasure. Amazing location and the staff are incredibly warm and wonderful people. It’s like coming to visit family every time except fun!
Much appreciated,
G"
