The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection
10/10 Excellent
"The Seagate is amazing! The staff there are so friendly, especially Eddie! The steakhouse in the hotel, the spa, the beach club, and the pool were absolutely delightful! Will definitely be returning!"
"Okay, so rooms are super clean, beds are very clean and comfy. The staff are very accommodating, as well as the Wi-Fi and breakfast is available from early morning to 11am."
"I had a great experience with this hotel. Stayed for a conference on a nearby hotel. The room was clean and in good condition. The breakfast was good with many options. Did not run into any issues with my stay and the value for the single room was great."
"Here's the GOOD & the BAD from someone who's stayed here over 10 times...
THE GOOD: This hotel is gorgeous, and it's a must-see if you're going to be on Palm Beach Island, which is totally different from West Palm Beach. You're right on the beach, which is great if that's what you're looking for. The staff is very helpful, there are 4 pools (2 of which are adults-only), lots of restaurants, stores, and stunning gardens! It's worth staying here at least once in your life.
THE BAD: This hotel is BUSYYYYYYY. Imagine Disney World busy, all the time! So if you're looking for isolation or privacy, this is NOT it. It didn't used to be so hectic, but now it's pretty insane, especially around the lobby and bar areas. The pools are also packed, making it almost impossible to find chairs.
Lastly, unless you're paying for an oceanfront view, the windows in your room will likely be VERY SMALL. Most rooms don't get much natural light, and the views tend to be disappointing, especially considering that rooms start at $1,500+ per night.
Here's a photo of the view from our room during our last stay. Is this worth almost $2K a night? I'm not so sure..."
Explore places like Port of Palm Beach while you're in the area. The picturesque setting of Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens and Lake Worth Beach showcase the area's natural beauty.
When is the best time to book a hotel with a pool in Cloud Lake?
You may want to think about a place to stay with an outdoor pool if you'll be visiting West Palm Beach in the driest months of February, January, or March when the average rainfall is 2 inches. Lodging that has a pool indoors may be the way to go if you are visiting during the rainiest months of June, August, and September when the average rainfall is is 10 inches.
