Guidance to nice walks and places to see are part of the warm welcoming to Blackstairs Shepherds Hut. We enjoyed the quietness, a walk along the river Barrow and having dinner in the nearby town Borris.」

「Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean. We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930. Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night. Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. 」

「Petit hôtel simple mais très confortable. Les chambres possèdent une literie de bonne qualité, une bouilloire, café, thé, sèche cheveux. La salle de bain était très propre et il y a de nombreuses places pour se garer devant l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le personnel très sympathique et aime plaisanter. Le soir nous avons également mangé sur place et le repas était très correct. C'est une adresse où je retournerai volontiers.」
