We checked in and discovered our room didn’t have a bath, we were swapped to a room with one immediately, not a problem to the staff. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was also spotless. Bath and shower were separate, water pressure was fab and hot water always available no matter what time of day you were using it. Mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine with pods, hair dryer, iron and ironing board all provided. Breakfast selection was plentiful and hot food was replenished regularly. Many options to choose from for cereal, continental, hot food and pastries. There was even fresh honey on the comb, what a treat! We had breakfast 3 mornings and never had the same thing twice. We ate in both Frederick’s and Aaron lounge, amazing food available from both. The cocktails were also very good, great taste and not too heavy with the alcohol, you could taste all the elements of each. Lastly, the staff were all very attentive, friendly and made you feel at home. Would highly recommend a stay here either as a couple or family.

We were wholly impressed with Mount Wolseley. Superb, caring staff at reception. Excellent staff throughout stay. Large, well appointed rooms. I was the only one in our party who used the swimming pool and apart from a lack of chairs and recliners it was a lovely environment

The hotel grounds are beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to help us. We were assigned a "family" room with an inredible view, even though we had requested a King. There was no problem in switching over - we understood that the girl at reception was giving us an upgrade with the view, but we preferred the larger bed. Our rate included breakfast and dinner. We had the same server (Erica) each night, and she was so fantastic.

Lovely property… breakfast and dinner were good quality The only complaint is that the Expedia site says that all rooms are air conditioned but only half the building is. As we were in a heat wave in Ireland, we received a room which was sweltering even with windows open. For our second day they were able to move us to one of their air conditioned rooms which was far more comfortable… perhaps the website needs to be more accurate

Hotel itself is lovely , the room was clean but definitely aged . The only issue i really had was that the pump on the toliet is extremely loud. Staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast had a great choice and was nice.
