"At the time of checking into the hotel immediately I noticed the overall up keep of the property has gone negligence. Once entering the facility there was a gentleman sitting on top the countertop, while the front desk clerk check me in. I was asked to pay $100 incidental fee and will be returned after check out. When going to the elevator it looked uncleaned and non maintenance. The carpet looked dirty throughout the hotel. When coming into the room I noticed a huge outdated ceiling fan, a uncleaned coffee maker and the television leaving against the wall. This property is poorly upkept"

"I come to Ridgeland once a year to participate in the Natchez Trace Century Bike Race. This is one of the better properties in the area. Awesome location, great staff, very clean property inside and out, and they offer a great complimentary breakfast each morning. Whether you are coming for the bike event, another event, or for just a fun get-a-way weekend, the Hyatt is really a great place to stay. I highly recommend it!"

"Stayed 6 nights; bed was made only ONCE. Floors weren't cleaned; shoes stuck to the floor! When housekeeping problems were reported at front desk, they didn't even attempt to apologize. Pool was absolutely FILTHY. Another guest stopped me in the hallway to complain about how dirty the floors were in her room. Will NEVER return!"

"Arrived at 410pm room was not ready. Lady said would be about 15 minutes and then yelled at 3 children approx ages 8-10 to go clean room. Finally at 505pm a guy said you room is ready but be careful the floor is still wet. Knowing and seeing my husband is walking with a cane. Talk about an OSHA hazard. The shower was supposed to be roll in full accessible but it had no bench, the shower hose did not move, the pump dispenser was at the height of my head no way a handicap person could reach without help. Breakfast was to start at 6am. I went down at 630am and no coffee and no employees. Continue to go down every 15 minutes ringing bell and never anyone coming. Finally a worker showed at 8am then was very rude when asked for coffee. As we were packing to leave water started flowing in from wall across floor. Went to get staff and she came and said “well theres nobody next door so it must be coming down wall from upstairs, so be careful” Not even an offer for towels or a mop to clean up water. Once again such a danger especially with a handicap spouse. I stay in hotels a lot due to work and pleasure and have never experienced this in my 60yrs."
