We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. There is an overall smell of mildew/mold throughout the place, and most of the surfaces need a good cleaning. In the bathroom the shower tap is rigged so that you cannot increase the temperature past a moderate level, and the shower door is falling off the frame. I also came across many spiders. "

"Excellent hotel with beach front location. We were upgraded to a sea view room and were very grateful. Even though we were above the main road outside the traffic noise was very minimal and not really evident. The room had everything we needed and more, TV worked great and you can cast your apps to it, we didn't try. Room was well maintained and very clean. We didn't get chance to use the pool or other wet facilities but wish we had! I would certainly stay there again and would love a seaview room again, the windows are so deep that you can actually sit in it and watch the world go by. The car park is under the hotel and easy to use. You can stay on your departure day until you need to leave so that can be after check out, that was very handy for me."
