"This was a nightmare. I hooked the suite and immediately we could hear and feel a chronic rumbling noise occurring every minute or so. It was so loud the room was uninhabitable. When we reported it to the front desk one of the staff was pleasant and the other was egregiously aggressive and obstinate— questioning us, accusing us of making up stories, raised her voice and ultimately the nicer one found us another room option BUT it was a much cheaper room and I did not get any reimbursement. Then a couple days later I tried to do laundry and discovered a decrepit old coin op , put my money in and the thing didn’t work. It was one issue after another . I am extremely horrified and I DEMAND A FULL REFUND"

"having stayed in another different brand hotel not too far away just three weeks ago, I was absolutely amazed at the difference between that one and the Doubletree. The Doubletree was absolutely excellent all around. No problem whatsoever. The staff at the front desk and also in the restaurant were extremely good. The room was very clean and functional. It was such a pleasure after the other one."
