"The room had the hot water shut off. The air conditioning vent was missing. Overall the experience of the room was terrible. The floor was filled with paint leftovers. Staff did not even suggested moving rooms."

"We had a fantastic stay at Casa Pazos in Arbo, Pontevedra. The owners, Jay and Leanna, are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was delicious, made with fresh, natural ingredients, and absolutely worth it. Our room was spotless, as was the bathroom—everything was very clean and well cared for. The location is peaceful and quiet, with a spectacular view that makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. We also really enjoyed the wine they offer, which is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. We would definitely stay here again."

"Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. The place smelled like cigarettes and the host is not on site/wasn’t responsive. However, we may have been a one off. Everybody has a bad day and we hope their business does well."

I want to highlight that, in particular, my wife (who is celiac) enjoyed her time considering the special care and the way that she was protected by the place’s owner through a special menu prepare to her. "A hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to us and the dog. The room was a good size and had a balcony with a hammock and lake view. The breakfast was good, with freshly cooked eggs. The food in the evening was a bit limited; only one choice of a main meal but there were numerous bar snacks and sharing platters. Not really a problem though, as there was a restaurant 5 minutes walk down the road. In all a very enjoyable stay"

"Positive. - Staff when we arrived. Very nice. Great explanations. Good recommendations for restaurant. - breakfast is inclused. Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. "

"Place is wonderful, clean with an amazing view on the mountains. Very good restaurant at a walkable distance. Breakfast was very good also. There was a dog barking 2-3 times during the night ( both nights)that we could hear from our room… other than that our stay was perfect! We recommend!"
