「The door lock is broken and I couldn't sleep well all night」

「Waited a good 45 mins for someone to be at the desk so we could check in. 」

「Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Newport News was one of the worst on our US roadtrip. We had to change rooms during our 2 day stay because of non-working door-locks. The entire facility is poorly maintained. Bedlinen are dirty, all family members had bites from bedbugs all over their bodies after our stay there. Rooms are not well cleaned, ACs are dirty and full of dust. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Cannot compare to Holiday Inn Hotels here in Europe, a house like this would have had...

「I’ve stayed multiple times at the brick kiln golf resort and lodge , and played the golf course multiple times as well.The course -hotel and restaurant (the nest) , are top notch. The thing that constantly stands out- is the staff !!! Always a pleasure to interact and connect with. This particular team— pro shop - Garrett and Owen- and the nest - Cayla - and check in personnel were - as usual- just an absolute pleasure. Keeps me and my family coming back when visiting our daughter at CNU」

「The hotel itself and the room were very clean. However, the indoor pool was not usable unfortunately, as it was freezing cold. The indoor pool was one of the reasons we booked the stay at this particular hotel, so it was a little disappointing.」
