Definitely climb the mountain if you like hiking; its so gorgeous at the top and really fun to scramble up the rocks. Just make sure to go early and bring lots of water!

If you decide to go, go early otherwise you won't be able to see both sides. They are two parks and after 2pm I believe you aren't allow to go into the park.

If you climb the mountain, get there early in the morning. You will want good shoes, and 2 quarts of water. Most of the climb is up the shadow of the mountain. The climb is more enjoyable if you drive to the park and park at the base of the mountain. If you walk in from the visitor center, it adds about an hour of pointless ups and downs.
