Lovely stay in the Tuscan countryside

Lovely restored Tuscan villa and farmhouse. Very comfortable stay. Felt that the people who run it do so with a lot of heart and style. Great value too.

Wonderful Toscana, we will return!

We had five wonderful days in beautiful Toscana! Great atmosphere, wonderful location of the hotel and very reasonably priced. Eating at their restaurant was quite pricy however. Breakfast ok but excellent croissants and coffee! One of the reasons we picked this hotel was the laundry service which was advertised on hotels.com. No laundry service was available.

This was a wonderful place to stay! The staff were very kind and helpful. The property and a room was wonderful and accommodating. We were very close to castles that we wanted to see and loved being a bit off the crowded city centers. The staff recommended the restaurant next-door. That was fabulous! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was even better! I would highly recommend the restaurant and hotel to anyone!!!

Ha sido una estancia llena de poca profesionalidad. El servicio de check- in ha sido mediocre y con un chico en la recepción que no está preparado para ese puesto de trabajo. El servicio de desayuno hubo días en los que no había nadie y no sabíamos cómo pedir lo necesario para desayunar. Un sitio en una buena ubicación con una gestión muy mala. Por ahora, no recomiendo este lugar.

In due abbiamo fruito di un pernottamento e colazione, per cui giudico solo questi due aspetti. Ci è stato assegnato un appartamento in ottime condizioni strutturali e di pulizia, bene arredato, composto da soggiorno con cucina (che, seppure non utilizzata, era dotata di tutto il necessario), bagno e camera da letto in cui abbiamo dormito molto bene, essendo il letto comodissimo. Buona la colazione, con un discreto assortimento per la parte dolce, un po’ meno per la parte salata; rimanendo in tema colazione, secondo Expedia sarebbe dovuta iniziare alle 8, al check-in ci è stato detto 7.30, fatto sta che ci siamo presentati alle 8.30 e la sala preposta era chiusa (siamo tornati poco dopo le 9 ed era aperta): credo che sia opportuna un po’ più di precisione negli orari. Gentile e disponibile la Signora con cui abbiamo fatto il chek-in/out.

Why NOT stay here

Borgo incantevole

Sistemazione incantevole lontano da tutto. camere con mobilio rustico di una volta molto accoglienti e spaziose con tutto quello che serve e molto comode. Il borgo è lontano da qualsiasi servizio , ma il personale cerca in tutti i modi di non fare mancare niente ed è sempre pronto ad intervenire in supporto. Colazione ottima con ingredienti freschi. Unico neo è la presenza di una ferrovia in lontananza , si sentono i treni passare, ma nemmeno troppo forte.

Problemer med at finde reception ved ankomst. Da vi endelig fandt den, var den ubemandet. Ledte forgæves 30 minutter efter personale, og måtte køre igen. Vendte tilbage en time senere, og samme historie. Endelig fandt vi en fra personalet, der fandt en nøgle til os. Han talte ikke meget engelsk. Ok værelser som er rummelige. Ingen aircondition, men loftventilatorer. Wifi virkede ikke indendørs. Lækker pool. God morgenmad.

I love to stay Borgo Dolciano

Borgo Dolciano has a wonderful view over Tuscana. Facilities were very clean and convenient. The owner is very friendly and provides useful information for traveling around the area. Traditional Italian Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely like to stay here again.

Struttura collocata in una zona collinare, incantevole, riparata. Camera ampia, pulita, con un romantico letto a baldacchino. Provata solo per una notte, fuori stagione: va apprezzata con più calma.

Anche un soggiorno breve come il mio, a Borgo Dolciano è stata una bellissima esperienza. Il personale è fantastico, disponbile e ha la capacità di farti sentire un "vecchio amico". Gli arredi delle camere sono deliziosi, la pulizia impeccabile, l'attenzione al dettaglio dimostra passione e serietà.
