Viceroy Chicago
Great hotel. Updated, clean, nice. I had 4 bags and when I arrived, no one offered to help me with them, offer me a trolly to take them to my room, etc. When I checked out, a nice bell man named Mark offered to help me, he was great.

Congress Plaza Hotel
It’s an old hotel. It needs a quality paint job and new carpets in the hallways among many other things. But the lake view rooms makes up for a lot of what’s missing.

Spent three nights with husband and teenage son over spring break. Young man who checked us in was not friendly, did not mention happy hour, or breakfast.
