The parking situation isn’t great and the “hotel fee” was not expected upon check in either. The rooms are good and the placement of the hotel is great!

Love this place, have stayed here twice. Wish I could remember their names but young lady who checked me in today was super amazing and the bag handling guy was very nice and absolutely helpful. Parking is the only downside

The Arlo is in an excellent location. Close to the river, the parks and the l. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The restaurant staff was good for the most part. There were only two issues for me, the shower was out of body wash, which they rectified immediately and I really disliked the smell of the lobby. Also, I normally get a handicap room because of my hearing loss so I have visual alarms, but I couldn't get a room with two beds that was handicap. However, the regular room DID have a visual alarms (the front desk didn't know)

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. Wonderful restaurant on the property. Good experience overall, with the exception of 3 things: 1) the rooms with double beds all face a wall, no view whatsoever. 2) there's no privacy lock on the bathroom door. 3) we arrived a few hours before the check-in time (4PM) and were told that the rooms are ready but we can't get in unless we pay a $50.00 early check-in fee per room. I travel a lot but I've never heard of anything like this before.

The hotel is really cute, modern, the room was spacious, bed and pillows comfy, nice open bathroom, great staff and service, very convenient restaurant with good food downstairs, just a few steps away from millennium park, the Bean (cloud gate), the public transportation is just outside, very close to very good restaurants, main attractions, great stay, thanks

I did not like I was not able to get my breakfast sent to my room. They were short staffed in on site restaurant About last knife. So I had to come downstairs to order my food and come back downstairs to pick it up. I enjoy breakfast in my room during hotel stays.

My only complaint is they have a fee they charge when you get there for guest services that is just discounts at a few museums and restaurants. It's just a way for them to charge you more. Other than that we had a great stay.

The hotel was fantastic...was on the top floor and had a BEAUTIFUL view. The only problem is the bed was rather hard and the pillows were terrible!!! We have never stayed at a hotel with pillow so flat. Asked for new pillows for the next night, same pillows. Weird.

This was the 2nd time I’ve stayed here with my wife. We liked it so much the 1st time, we decided to rebook again. Great location and very close to the Grant Park North garage. Only knock I could say was that they seemed to be short staffed. We will likely be staying here again in the future.
