The Look hotel is a modest and great value hotel with all the amenities you'd need. It has a solid breakfast, lots of room space, and comfy beds. I'd recommend it for it's location and overall value!

For us this was the perfect hotel. Nice big clean room, very very nice staff, great breakfast variety to suit any taste, walking distance to Chiayi Train Station and Alishan Forest Railway. Wenhua Road night market a short walk away. We would stay here again.

Generally satisfied, except that the sound insulation is not very good (the sound of the neighbor's door closing can be heard). It is very close to Wenhua Road Night Market and has convenient facilities nearby.

The room was surprisingly large with 2 single beds, which were very comfortable. It had a decent size bathroom as well. Breakfast was included in the price which was honestly very reasonable. The hotel itself is roughly a 10-15 minute walk from Chiayi railway station which is also where the bus station is. There are a few places to eat near the hotel and the city is quite small and walkable anyway so eating options weren't a problem. Overall a very nice hotel in a good location, I would happily stay here again.

What a pleasure! The Chiayi Look is very clean, the staff from front desk to cleaning crew to breakfast were all the best. Having a translation app is beneficial. Breakfast was traditional Taiwanese food, but no problem for us. It's an easy walk to the Alishan railroad, several museums, the night market and plenty of other places to eat.

We have to sit on the couch to watch TV. The TV is supposedly able to turn 180 degrees to face the bed but it was fixed for some reason to face the couch only. Like the bath tub is huge.

The location is very convenient, being close to Chiayi Station. The bed is comfortable, making it easy to fall asleep. However, during my stay, I could hear conversations from outside, as the room's soundproofing is poor.

Two Day Chiayi Trip

The location is convenient. The self check in was very easy with the help of the front desk's staff. It looks like the hotel was quite new, very clean, and very good bed.
