「Check in was efficient Staff were friendly Rooms were clean and functional. Evening restaurant was a disaster 45 min to get and appetizer and customers were not happy. Food left on service counter and not bought out to tables. Breakfast was much more efficient. May have been a bad evening but no real apologies offered. Average budget stay hotel. 」

「The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. 「One night stay was good for what we needed just very dusty , cobwebs everywhere , dust in the air vent in the bathroom , cracks and screws hanging out. Would stay again as the room is adequate just needs abit of a clean. 」

Also had food in the restaurant again was outstanding. The faciluties are fantastic. We will be back to stay would definiyely book for a spa weekend. 」
