• A plane trip can be easy if you bring the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a fresh change of clothes and a good read. • It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, drink lots of water, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your legs and feet often.

The trick is to be prepared before you arrive at the security gate. That way, you'll be stepping onto that plane to Trossachs in no time flat. Follow these helpful tips and get your vacation off to a spectacular start:
