Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. "The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "

"A lovely hotel. Room was nice, clean and cosy with a great bathroom and shower. Big windows and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. 2 minutes walk from the train station. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Gwendoline who was extremely helpful and a credit to the company. She recommended a nearby restaurant and bar which were also excellent. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended. "
