Very comfortable

The rooms are dated, however, in fairness they are doing major renovations and obviously working through each room. The service was extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean and tidy. Also the bed was very comfortabe. Would certainly stay there again

I always stay at the park motel when visiting charters towers, its location is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The statf are always polite and helpful. The reception ladie aka simone is always accommodating polite and helpful.

We stayed one night, it’s affordable and with nice bed, big tv, new aircon and generous bottle water for free and cookies(compare to other motels we stayed in, no free water). It’s not a modern motel but overall it’s comfortable.

Hotel is under new management so be aware that details on Expedia and hotel website are not accurate. Check in is 2pm, restaurant, entertainment currently closed. Laundry is not self service and costs $16 au about £8! They don't provide shuttle to train or bus as stated on their site. Best to contact directly to confirm queries you have. Location is across from small park which is nice my room looked out on it and although next to road not used much at night so was quiet. Easy walking to shops, food, tourist spots, supermarket, pretty much all of town. Also 10 min walk to bus that takes you to Townsville. Rooms large, not fancy but all you need. Toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, big tv, ac. Reception provided me with plate, bowl and cutlery so I could self cater. Needs some tlc definitely dated but comfortable stay.
