For the price point it was perfect, came up for race weekend. Had hot water(i love hot showers) room was clean, staff we did encounter was friendly and parking was great. If we have a need to be back that way will def stay again.

Motel: This motel is extremely clean…..beds were comfy & everything worked. Great shower & plenty of clean towels. Physical appearance both inside & out extremely dated …… like from back in the mid -50’s……but so was the nightly room rate. Rates are a true bargain for sure!! GML & fam.

Hidden Gem

An older motel with all the right amenities: great sheets, pillows, towels, lamps and a clock, microwave and fridge. Even hosted a coin opp washing machine and dryer. Very pleasant and highly recommend.

I’ve stayed at a number of vintage roadside motels and the majority are rundown and showing their age. Not the Royal Rest however! It was wonderfully maintained, cozy, and stylish and I’d definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the area.
