「this is an extraordinary locally owned platform cabin lodge in the rainforest next to the major national park with the most biodiversity in all Central America. Dispite the challenging location our room with Erie clean, no mold ( a rainforest problem) and fun. With an outdoor shower and a beautiful trail leading to it with candles along the way. Comfort is basic overall and the owners offer the option to have lunch and dinner on site with good local food. 「Perfect for a relaxing retreat with or without the yoga and a good place for the activities in the Oso/Corcovado area. Jen and Stuart’s hospitality is exceptional - everything you need, when you need it, with no fuss, and very well priced (eg $10 for a delicious lunch). Breakfast is delicious. Stuart’s cocktails are great. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. The only thing i would have done differently is hiring bikes in town for greater flexibility. 」

「Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. 」

「Chosa el Manglar was the perfect spot for our brief visit to Puerto Jimenez. It is a short walk from the airport, has beautiful grounds, and is centrally located. The owners took great care of us, helping us out with some local logistics. 」

「It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. 「Basic hotel so not for the luxury travelers but bed was comfy and shower good. Has a patio where I could sit and watch birds in the trees. Owner very friendly- made me breakfast every day and provided rides to and from ferry and airport for a small extra fee. Great base for doing Corcovado activities 」
