「Felt unsafe around area and place should be listed as a motel and not as a hotel. Originally planned on staying 3 nights but after checking in and exchanging 3 rooms due to moldy bathrooms, moldy AC vents, and just plain dirty all over, we decided to cancelled the rest of our reservation altogethers.」

「Place was very clean and appears recently updated. Also had a nice indoor pool, although I did not try it out. IHOP next door. Easy to get back on the interstate and quiet.」

「Wonderful property. Historic building with ultra modern amenities. You must negotiate at least 3 steps, so keep that in mind if mobility is an issue for you. The inn is perfectly situated for walking downtown Plainfield. Shops, restaurants, and the best ice cream locally is right around the corner. Alles ist in der Nähe. (Everything is close by.)」

「The absolute worst location I have stayed at in my whole life. Cigarette burns on the bed (8 different ones) and on the back of the toilet. When asking management about it they told me, “ oh well, take it up with Expedia…you booked with them!” I immediately left and booked with another hotel!」

「Breakfast was non existent. Hours were from 6:30 to 9:30. very little left and no replenishments.」

「Check in was alright, the property was what you’d expect from a cheap motel, burn holes on every surface, nothing much offered in the way of amenities except two bars of soap and a few towels. Water pressure was nice! Off putting signs, the security lock on my door was broken, everything felt sticky, and second morning I found a cockroach. I left early. Just couldn’t bring myself to stay there another night.」

Horrible customer service from his end. and i would never stay there again. Many guest complained of several issues, in which they also weren’t happy, Example shorts on light switched, clogged shower and sinks. and many more.」
