This is a gracious old-fashionged hotel overlooking the sea and away from the bustle of Old Town Chania, but it's an easy walk to the shops and restaurants there.
The staff is helpful and hospitable and the breakfasts are plentiful.
Staff were all so kind and attentive. The views from our room were breathtaking. The property itself is unique ..we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!
This was a traditional hotel with excellent service. It is filled with antiques and in a building a very interesting history, but still very well maintained and operated. Staff was excellent and gave good advice. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of character and charm.
Everything was unique, antiquities and decorative objects in every room. Beautiful views and garden too. Loved our stay especially breakfast in the upper floor galleried breakfast room. Just spectacular.
Doma offers 21st century comfort with a refreshing emphasis on tradition, history and a genuine welcome from all the staff.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Room comfort
The room was very very basic, looked out onto a construction area so we kept the curtains closed. Shower was extraordinarily small with no shower curtain so water went everywhere and everything got wet. Mattress was rock hard. Lesson in reading what is actually in the room before booking. It is on a very busy road.
The staff at breakfast were the most friendliest and always up for a chat.
We did ask for another room but was told only if available?????
Overall it was ok.
First, the hotel is un marked and even at midnight is on a very busy road with a 2 foot wide sidewalk ( be careful). The n lug your suitcases up abot ten steps, to entrance that has a major trip hazard as you enter. The smallest bathroom ever when you shower it goes all over the floor. The bed almost layong on the floor was actually comfotable or maybe because I was in 24hr of the day.. coffee was not hot even fresh pot. The skeleton key although cool a definite fire hazard. Thankfully we were only there overnight, road noise kept my wife up during the night. Beautiful view ouut window and had to drive around to find parking space.
Delightful hotel in a prosperous suburb of Chania.
Hotel has marvellous views which offset the busy road. Could have sworn that the description said “parking” but its street parking only.
Anyway, I would stay again!
Very nice hotel with a lot of atmosphere and excellent service!
The staff were very nice and helpful, rooms were clean and had everything you need and the location good - not in the most busy part of Chania.

Great location. Property is a treasure of property - beautiful old mansion with garden
Breakfast in beautifull, full of antiques room with soothing view
Very special stuff that made us feel like at home.
Highly recommended
Doma is a hotel with character, filled with interesting history, and has the most amazing staff. If I had questions regarding sightseeing, restaurants, or making an appointment for the required COVID test for my return flight, Maria-Ioanna and Nondas were experts in giving the best advice. My stay in this hotel was extremely enjoyable and I can highly recommend it to everybody who wants to experience life in the old town of Chania.
Nice hotel walking distance to the old town. I read online that the rooms facing the water and street are very noisy and it was true...easily fixed with earplugs. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
