"We have stayed here before and as last time, it was perfect. Charles is a wonderful host and when we turned up late on a Sunday evening with few local dining opportunities, he created a delicious platter of cheeses and meats for us, including an aged Brillat-Savarin that was just divine. He helped us get away for the channel crossing on time by accommodating us a bit early for breakfast. The room (Reims) was very comfortable, with a shower and bath. Highly recommended."

"The hotel has let itself go quite a bit, but apparently the rooms were done over and the price was right, so I thought I would gove a It a go. When I arrived, first impressions weren’t good. The outside hasn’t been done over yet, and it looks rough. However: service at the reception was excellent and indeed the rooms were like new. A comfortable bed, good cushions and quiet. "Hotel was OK but it's location is a challenge as there is nothing else in the village. Hotel Restaurant fully booked on day of arrival so had to head out elsewhere after a long day travelling wasn't great. Breakfast was ok but at €14 per person, not great value. Pool was good and staff mostly friendly. "
