Room (in newer 2-story building) was on the small side but well appointed with queen bed, bureau, corner table, easy chair, mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom was newly and attractively tiled, very nice shower & tub. Some cosmetic work needed, such as paint touch-up. Mini-split system provided comfortable heat (December stay). Coffee and packaged muffins, etc. in lobby in the morning. Very cute and cozy place!

The description online oversold the property. While the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the room smelled musty. The walls are dark paneling, the curtains barely covered the window, and the tv is Roku with no option for live current prime time shows.

I checked in after the office was closed. They called me personally and let me know where my key would be in the office. Getting my key was a breeze. Room is very clean. Older motel. Nicely updated. Very nice for the cost. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival we were met with a cold greeting at the front desk. She actually told me that, "I'd get a better rate if I didn't use a service(like Expedia). I noticed signs in the front office detailing how to operate the heating and cooling system. It also explained what NOT to do. I should have taken a picture of this information because that same information was not in the room. When I turned on the air conditioner it worked for about 5 minutes then it stopped and an error code appeared. The thing that was mentioned on the notice at the front desk. Ihad to walk back to the front office to take a picture of the notice so we knew how to handle the error code. We followed the instructions but it still would not work. My husband then walked to the front office and explained what was happening. That same front desk woman blamed him for not following instructions(which WAS NOT TRUE) She ended up getting the owner /manager to help with the problem. It turns out that the heating/ cooling system(mini split) was installed connecting three rooms to each other. If one room wants heat the other rooms can't use the a/c. The manager had to call the other rooms that were on our system to find out who used heat and instruct them to not use heat so we could use the air conditioner. It was hot outside that day so a/c was needed. Horrible system! We were in a room under stairs that led to the second floor. It was noisy. An outside cat seemed sweet until it woke us up at daylight.

Motel old but very clean. From the outside, I wasn't sure they were even open.There are no lights other than the small sign. Not in the parking lot, the walkway in front of rooms, or on the stairs. Expected more. Even Motel 6 leaves the light on!

This motel was very pleasant, clean. A little dated. The great feature was the location right by the river. Nice walking path nearby. Comfortable beds.
