「Torquay is lovely even in December and the hotel brilliant as 10 min walk along prom or through park to the Station and 3 mins walk to beach. Room spotless, one of the cleanest I have stayed in, and very comfy bed and recently refurbed very tastefully. A proper hotel with bar restaurant and pool and the feeling of space. 「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」
