"The most stunning hotel I have ever visited. I don’t even know where to start!
All of the staff are super attentive and friendly, in particular the hotel manager, who makes sure to say good morning to you every day.
The breakfast is fantastic, with eggs cooked however you like, drinks and an array of popular Turkish breakfast items. The pişi (like a savoury doughnut) is so addictive!
The attention to detail is superb, and the location is perfect for walking into Alaçatı’s old town.
The hotel was incredibly accommodating on our check-out day. As we had an evening flight, they let us check out as late as 5pm, which was amazing. We could then continue using the pool and they kindly printed our boarding passes, which was particularly useful as İzmir Airport doesn’t always accept electronic boarding passes. These little touches made such a difference on our last day.
If I had to be critical, there are two points. Firstly, the bar menu and minibar are very expensive. For example, fries are 750 lira (£11) and an Aperol Spritz is 1,195 lira (£18)!
Secondly, smoking is permitted around the pool and outside breakfast area. People smoking cigars next to us during breakfast meant we had to move indoors, which was a shame. A designated smoking area away from the pool and breakfast areas would be much better.
But honestly, these two gripes don’t take away from the overall experience. It is truly 5/5."
