Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

"This was one of my favorite family hotel stays in my life! The building itself is beautiful with so many nice historic touches. It is so convenient to be right on the Riverwalk- we could walk to so many of the City's attractions. The pool on the roof is a wonderful touch and is open late to enjoy the lights of the city once it cools a bit. The free daily breakfast and dinner (and 3 alcoholic drinks per adult per day!) were such a perk, especially traveling with kids. It gets busy, but it was so wonderful to be able to get some food into our kids early and then go to whatever restaurant we wanted without worrying if they would have something to eat. And the breakfast included is a great cheap option to start your day off right. Every single staff member we came into contact with was so friendly and welcoming from the front desk, the people working the food areas, the maids, etc. The atmosphere, perks and location were fantastic for the price we paid."

"I am a FAN. This hotel was beautiful and clean...my room, the lobby, the pool-everything. The hallways were beautiful, the staff was friendly, breakfast was yummy, my espresso martini was perfection, the location cannot be beat if you want to explore the French Quarter, Cafe Du Monde or take a river cruise...the hotel is so close to all of that and more. Chilled cucumber water was always in the lobby and coffee was always there as well in the morning hours. The pool is hella cute-it felt like a treat and it even looks good from your room (I had a pool view). The AC and cable were legit as was the water pressure in the shower. Get a paper copy of your bill at checkout because there were 2 wrong charges on mine but they were cleared up immediately. LOVED the staff too. I will be staying here again :)"
