「Dario was very responsive all along. We only stayed one night due to timing of our rental car pickup. But the setting for Villa Rosa is captivating- on a hill in Cefalu overlooking the sea. Parking was available and free. Dario gave us directions to the rental car agency. Breakfast was served on a lovely porch buffet style. There was a variety of options- and it was good. Croissant, hard boiled egg, yogurts, fruit and of course, coffee. If travelers wanted, town and the beach were walkable.」

Greeted kindly upon arrival with a map and suggestions for appertivo and activities for the next day. Our room was new with great air conditioning and comfortable amenities. 「Lacking amenities in the room eg water, kettle. The sink also appeared to be constructed incorrectly ie it was too near the wall so you couldn’t open the tap fully. There was also one day our room wasn’t cleaned despite having the “please make up our room” sign on the door. However it was about a 20-25min walk to the city and the concierge staff were incredibly lovely. A good hotel if you’re looking to be out most of the day, and none of the ‘issues’ mentioned were a deal breaker for us!」
