"This hotel is our favorite pet-friendly hotel in downtown Durham. During this last visit, I had inadvertently double booked myself a room directly with the hotel and on Expedia. The check-in host was so kind to cancel the room booked directly with the hotel without penalties. I certainly was not expecting that and figured I'd be paying for two rooms due to my oversight. Thank you 21c hotel. That made my day, and I will certainly return. "

"We stayed here for NYE/New Year's Day, and the front desk team was incredible. They were personable, energetic, responsive, and kind. The Suite is a great choice for a stay--it's spacious and perfectly situated in the hotel. What a great place to close out 2025 and ring in 2026!"

"Clean room, helpful staff. No issue with stay. However room design is strange as the lavatory/sink is right by the door making it awkward to answer the door or leave if someone was using the sink/mirror. That is a design flaw and not the fault of the staff. "
