Fili Hotel is a great hotel. The check-in was smooth with very friendly and polite staff. I gave it a 4 star because of a mishap we encountered during our stay. We initially only booked for an overnight stay but decided to extend our stay for another night. Everything was great. I loved the room set-up and the bathroom. The toilet was a modern, high-tech Japanese toilet bowl with electronic bidets. The bath tub was a good size too. We stayed in a double room with a sea-view. I really loved the view and the sunrise. 💕 There was a couch near the floor to ceiling window and it can turn into a sofa-bed. On our second day, my mother noticed something peaking out of the corner of the sofa. It wasn't easily visible as the color was the same as design on the carpets. When she pulled it out of the sofa, it was a used cond*m. O_O We had little girls staying with us, they saw the item and got nosy right away hence we immediately threw it. I asked for the room to be cleaned. Didn't make a fuss about it and just told the reception staff in person rather than through the phone to avoid miscommunication. The incident was addressed swiftly and the manager on duty apologised for what happened. It was no one's fault. The incident can help with improving the way the cleaning team prepares the rooms for the next guests in the future. I have to admit, when I saw the used item, I was disgusted and my imagination was betraying me. >_< Overall, Fili Hotel is excellent. Not perfect but close enough.

Suppose to be a 5 stars hotel, but services provided, doesn’t support that; All times I went out of the hotel, or came in, there was NEVER a bellboy at the entrance, to help with the luggage. On the day of my arrival, I had to take out my heavy suitcase from the taxi’s trunk by myself, since there is no one out there to help you. If by coincidence they notice you from within the hotel, they would come to help, but in most cases, it is too late… Executive lounge is nice. One day everything was fine, the other day, they forgot to put spoons and tools, in order that you will be able to take some food from the display. Even after I told them, they took out some, but still some of the dishes were missing those spoons. Has to be a regular manual, that they go by, to control the quality of all regular operations. No envelopes or papers in the room, a standard in 5 star hotels. Other than that, it was quite nice.

We really loved this hotel. Everything was so fancy and clean, we really loved the bidets, the room set up, and the amenities. This was the best gym and sauna/spa. The pools and views were amazing, I left with the best tan! The casino was nice and all of the shopping too! The restaurants were great too! Thank you to all the staff for accommodating our needs and allowing for a late check out! Thank you to James the lifeguard at the pools and all his colleagues that helped answer questions and that took the best pictures of us! We LOVED it here, we will be back ! Also the breakfast buffet was great!

Spacious and comfortable room, very clean. Staff so welcoming and kind. Buffet breakfast was great, some items rotate every other day so it’s not exactly the same. Pools were beautiful, we came during the windy season so we swam in the 4th floor infinity pool. Casino was fun and hotel is located conveniently across from Ocean Park and SM Seaside. We travelled with one 5 year old so we ordered taxis to get around easily. Will be returning,

Breakfast was great with so many options. The only thing I complained is, there was only two bath towels in the room. When I asked for face towel/washcloth, it never came. For two days stay, we never had one. On the first day, our room got cleaned while we were at breakfast even we did not request it to be cleaned as our things were still cluttered as we did not requested it to be cleaned yet. When my daughter and I came back after breakfast, we saw they came and cleaned. And still no washcloth, This was by the way, requested numerous times.
