"Great view from room, but this hotel charged for every little thing, including water for the room, pool tables in lounge, other games for kids, hotel shuttle to/from town. Need to leave a deposit in order to charge to the room at all. Overcharging for room service. Only one restaurant open at a time. Lights that wouldn't turn off in one room - staff solved the problem by cutting the wire to the light altogether. Not all that many options for hotels on Cat Ba, so this looked good comparatively, but it did not live up to the rating. "

"It's a great place to stay with the lovely garden and pool. The rooms around the pool are spacious and well equipped. The breakfast included make it great value. The restaurant food is a little basic but overall the experience is overwhelmingly great because the staff are kind and very helpful. Very enjoyable stay "
