「Ffolkes is a lovely place to stay, the rooms are big, the spa great. Darts and golf are a nice touch.」

「The toilet and shower are common, with no privacy at all. The pod does not have enough space, and the common shower does not have a temperature adjustment. Not ideal for families with kids. And the cost is high for these facilities.」

「Decor is rather dated. We didn't mind too much. TV. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Complimentary bottles of water,tea/coffee bags, biscuits replenished every day. The bedding and towels were clean, white and fresh. Breakfast was lovely, great choice. I thought it was going to be a buffet style but the cooked food was served at the table. 「Had to ask for clean towels and coffee sachets. Also had to ask for room to be cleaned and bedding changed after 3 days. So a 7 day stay only changed once. Lights not working. Shower connected to taps so unable to control water temperature. Shaving light above sink not working. Towel rail in bathroom got dangerously hot and was held together with insulating tape. A small step down to the room had no hazard warning tape or aluminaton, tripped over going out and fell down going in.」

「This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...
