「The hotel was ideally located for visiting a relative in the nearby hospital. The ground floor room was large, with a large comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge, hotplate and microwave. I enjoyed swimming pool and steam room and there was also a sauna and spa facilities. There was a garden and an outdoor seating area. As we were only staying over between hospital visits, we did not use the restaurant.」

I contacted the host straight away, who offered to change the bedding but insisted it was “clean, just stained” and that this had been missed by the cleaners. 「Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. 「Room was great, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Lovely quality toiletries and excellent to have a coffee machine. Parking was close to the room, and it was really helpful to have the little verandah overhang as it was running as we left! Only issue was lack of signage from the main road」
