「This posada was a perfect stop on our drive to Portugal. It’s just off the main road in a very quiet rural village. The hotel has a cafe/bar and a restaurant with a few decent choices for a set meal which included three courses, a bottle of wine and water for 25 euros a head. The room was good with a very comfortable bed and bathroom. All perfect for a quick overnight spot.」

「First the pros: It’s a lovely, newly renovated property, and our room had a gorgeous view of the Plaza Mayor. The building and room were charming, clean, and comfortable. The cons: A very big one for us was that the WiFi is weak and spotty. It was difficult to look up information about Salamanca sights online or even do email without interruptions and long waits. One of us had a zoom convo scheduled and had to go to the owners’ other property to use the WiFi there. The other downside is that...

「Clean and comfortable room. Restaurant in name only - offered tuna salad, croquettes or eggs only. Bizarre. No other restaurants open nearby. Managed to get them to make omelettes (15€ each). Very quiet location. 」
