「The room is very modern, clean and close to the city centre. Being a solo traveller it would have been peace of mind having a lock on the inside of the door and a key (it is electronic) But there were no issues while staying and I felt safe. Also the sensor lights in the room are annoying! They turn off if you dont move for a few minutes. Other than that I highly recommend the stay. It was one of the best accommodations I have stayed in with little luxury touches.」

「.The location was excellent — just a 15-minute walk from the city center and about a 25-minute walk from the train station. The host was kind, helpful, and available even at late hours. The cleanliness, bed linen, and towels were all excellent. The room was cleaned and tidied every day. The only thing that could be improved is the size of the refrigerator. It was really tiny, so a slightly larger one would have been more convenient.」

「I never write a bad review but do feel mislead about the value of my booking. It is a contactless guesthouse with access to offsite reception from 3-7:30. We had trouble with the check in process as only one of our two rooms was linked to the booking so we couldn’t upload all information which meant that we couldn’t access our rooms. This was handled for us quickly and helpfully but only once we could reach a human to help us. We booked two rooms and, due to our timing, paid a premium for...

Sasso Marconi

「We were looking for a unique place to start our holiday and Ca’Palazzo Malvasia really delivered. A former hunting lodge 15 mins outside of Bologna, set in rolling hills and accessed through miles of gravel driveways interspersed with iron gates, the Palazzo is full of sloping corridors, staggered steps, grand rooms and antique furniture, with bookcases bulging with texts from the 1800s. The family room (2 double beds) was fully in keeping with the feel of the place save for a modern bathroom...
