The hotel was nice but our first room was on the lower level, and slightly downstairs, smelled very musty and damp. They tried to cover the smell with perfume and cleaning supplies, which made it worse. We asked to change rooms and they moved us up one floor, the room was so tiny we could not open our bags but it was better than the smelly room. This room had a shower so small that my head nearly hit the top of it. We did not have hot water any of the 3 days we stayed. I would not recommend. Staff was nice and breakfast was good though.

Very good location, walking distance to everything. The stuff is friendly but speak very limited English or no English at all. At the last day of our stay they have electrical problems and moved us to another hotel. No one from the staff was able to explain what happened, why we had to move, where the new hotel was located and how to get there. We bought a package, including transfers to/from airport . Since the hotel was changed the shuttle was late. I guess, no none advised the transportation service about the change, even thought we asked about that a few times. It was very stressful, we could miss a flight. For these reasons I would not recommend this hotel.

It really is a Boutique Hotel. Don't forget that.

It is a small, intimate Boutique Hotel located at Cartagena's Old Town. The construction respects the original architecture with some renovations. Room (third floor deluxe) was nice, old fashion, just like the Old City Style. Bed was comfortable and roomy, more than enough space to place things and luggage. My wife and I stayed for the weekend and we had a pleasant stay. Price was right for what we got. We had no issues with the reservation and the room was ready for us. Water pressure at the shower was not always good. Has no elevator and stairs are tricky. We received help in order to handle the luggage. Breakfast was good and tasty. Not too little, not too much. We had a good time .

It was okay. I had to wait a long while to check in. They didn’t seem to have my reservation and the woman at reception didn’t speak English to explain. The room didn’t have a safe and when they provided one it wasn’t fixed in so there was no security for my money

VERy nice hotel with incredible big room , though sheets never were changed, breakfast just ok because it took loo long to get each thing. In oyr ladt day we almost got robbed very lucky two motorcicle policement stoped rhe teo men before they reached us, after that we were told the hitel street is a kind of dangerous....expedia should be more carefull in the hotel seleccion

Hotel was great! Very intimate, which allowed the employeea to rpivide excellent customer service. They were very caring and accomodating. The room was beautiful, and the ac was great with Cartagena heat. Our rav had breakfast included, which was delish and just what we needed to get the day started. Location wise, the place is walking distance to the clock tower, if you dont mind walking blocks at the time to get to a place. BUT there is a plaza one block down with good restaurants, vendors, a lil market and also one block away from las bovedas. So i would definetly recommend it to couples/solo travelers than love the walks and exploring and also having a good sleep (staying by the clock would have been loud without mentioning the night workers)

I stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel with my boyfriend. We had a wonderful time. Everything was walking distance. We reunite we my friends that were staying in boca grande. My friends were in love with this hotel. My room was beautiful an big. The personal was very helpful. I would stay here again .

Not a 10, but definitely a great place to stay

Our room was on the main floor. It was definitely a little musty. It smelled damp. Was more than comfortable and beautifully decorated. The food was just OK. They had a man performing maintenance that just went above and beyond and was SO nice. I was using. Travel towel s we were getting ready to leave and he stopped what he was doing and went downstairs to collect a Beach towel so I could lay by the pool. When I asked him a question about what something was (in my very poor Spanish) he told me and then pointed out a couple other spots of interest. He made the entire stay worthwhile just talking with him. But overall I would definitely stay here again. Last thing, there are no English I struction to reset the safe in the room so he peered for that.

Excellent Stay

We stayed at Casa de Los Reyes for 4 nights. The location was excellent, close to many restaurants and in a nice areal town. The rooms were clean but very small. The staff were friendly and a good variety breakfast served daily. Excellent stay, would definitely come back.

Really a good place, super clean and beautiful. The location is one of the best in Cartagena. The staff is really nice and helpful. If you need help they will help you with a smile. The are really professional. I recommend this place for sure. The room are small but the cache is perfect.
