"If your looking for a room just to spend the night and explore the town its ok. Im not sure for the rest of the room but they need to level up! El Buen Cafe has a historic name and it should have a better facility. "

"The hotel was well kept but there was NO HOT WATER to shower with. We informed front desk staff and they advised us to let the shower faucet run for 10 min to allow hot water to run. We let it run 45 min and still no hot water. Also the room was freezing because you could not control the AC. There was no microwave or phone in the room to call front desk if needed. I was very disappointed."

"The place/setting is incredible. The hotel is surrounded by mountains. The pictures will never reflect the real beauty of the setting. The hotel itself has a positive ambiance of relaxation and peace. The pool area is also beautiful (I would only recommend adding heating to the water). The staff is very kind and welcoming. If you add breakfast to your reservation, the staff can bring you the breakfast outside you cabin. If you choose to have diner in the evening is also very peaceful and you will be receive good attention. The bathroom needs some updates, but I definitely recommend the place. The hotel includes a Ceiba (tree) trail that reflects the beauty of the mountains and nature. You can visit the river within a walking distance."

"The staff was friendly, and the room was cleaned. They are under construction of some interior area. Also noticed a great number of cats everywhere, including trying to sneak into the restaurant area."

"The room was spacious and clean. Our room had ocean view, and there were no issues with our two dogs. There is plenty of parking space. The property itself was ok yet it could use a little additional cleaning. There was standing water in the stairs, and the third floor breakfast area trash can could benefit from a little cleaning as there was a foul smell in the area."

"very short walk to beach, very clean and comfortable, there was just luke warm water in the shower, we were in room 5. it might be hot in other rooms. owner very nice, brought me a hair dryer and clean towels.we enjoyed our stay"
