My Honest Review of Arecibo Inn – First-Time Stay
This was my first time staying at the Arecibo Inn, and I wanted to share some feedback based on my experience. Overall, I had a decent stay, and there were definitely some positives along with areas that could use improvement.
Staff & Service:
The supervisor was very kind and accommodating—not just to me, but also to my mother, aunt, and cousins who were all staying at the inn. One staff member stood out in particular: a sweet young lady with dark skin and a small bun/ponytail who has worked there for a long time. Her kindness made a big impression.
Rooms:
The room my mother and I stayed in was okay—not the best, but not terrible either. The bed was comfortable, which was a plus. However, the armoire where the TV was placed had quite a bit of dust, and the curtains also needed cleaning. On the other hand, I visited my cousin’s room on the first floor, which had been recently renovated—it was beautiful! My mom and aunt stayed on the second floor, and the stairs were difficult for them, which is something to consider for guests with mobility concerns.
Amenities:
The pool area was very inviting, and the laundry services were convenient. Inside the building was consistently clean and had a fresh scent every time we walked in, which was appreciated. The outdoor music by the pool created a nice atmosphere.
Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast was okay, but I do think the menu could use more variety. Every day, it was the same
