"Here’s a cleaner and more professional version of your review while still keeping your honest experience and concerns clear: The hotel is average overall, but considering how expensive hotels in San Diego County can be, I do think this is an affordable option for the price. I found the property to be clean, and while I experienced a couple of issues of safety that had me at edged. The main concern happened during check-in. I had reserved a two-bedroom room, but when I arrived, I was assigned a one-bedroom instead. Once I entered the room, I quickly realized it was already occupied because there were personal belongings in the closet belonging to another guest. That honestly made me very uncomfortable. While I understand mistakes can happen, situations like this are serious because it means someone could accidentally walk into an occupied room. I could have walked in while someone was sleeping or resting, and the same could have happened to me during my stay. After that incident, my experience was fairly average—nothing particularly impressive, but nothing terrible either. I live far away and occasionally need a place to stay because I work near hospitals in San Diego County, so convenience is important for me when choosing a hotel. so I don’t believe I’ll be coming back as safety is a big issue for me."

"I reserved a queen bed and got a single double bed with a parking lot view. They sent several emails about being a VIP member and how they would give us water and upgrade our room, none of which happened. Vallet parking was difficult because there was not enough room to pull up to do it. The room was super small. It was manageable for one night but that was it. The bed was hard as a rock and had the smallest pillows, no pillow top as advertised and the pillows seemed as though they were just pillow cases (square which was weird) with sheets shoved inside. Poor quality bedding."

"Great location and it seems as if that’s the only positive quality. Hotel has seen beater days. Could is a refresh, beds are not comfortable, AC is loud. The view of the bay is outstanding l."

"Stay was overall good. Hotel is under renovations so parking is super limited and the hallways are super chaotic. Our room was clean and comfortable which is always great. Breakfast was decent, very crowded as the hotel was full but overall not bad. Lots of teens so it was loud all hours of the day and night which I didn’t love. Would stay again though."
