Unfortunately, my stay was not as pleasant as I thought it was going to be. At check in the front desk agent, I believe her name is (Lesly) she did not welcome us upon arrival, did not offer us water for being Hilton gold member. Also, she did not explained the hotel amenities until I asked her .. Another thing that I did not understand was the incidental hold of $250 when all other Hilton hotels holds $50 to $75 per stay. Another observation is that the double queen room that we had didn’t have enough bath towels for 4 adults. ( the room just had 2 bath towels). Is the hotel short on linen?? If so the Housekeeping manager should buy more.

I was told upon check in that my room would be clean in 2 days. I stayed there 5 days and no housekeeping was done! I literally was my own housekeeping thru my stay. I didn’t even get no apology from the manager. Also there was one employee that was very rude to me

Half the lights in our room Didn’t work, the beds were terrible. Clearly they knew the beds were bad cause there was a notice on our door that they would be updating the beds the week after our stay. Too many hidden fees, stay was ok, had to ask for a new down comforter for the pull out bed 4 times before it was delivered. The phone in our room did not work so couldn’t phone the front desk, staff at the front desk couldn’t tell me where the closest convince store was located to the hotel. Hotel is perfectly located in regards to down town. Quick5-10 min drive to where we wanted to go, but the hotel needs work. There was a sign posted on the front of hotel saying change in ownership. Hope they realize they have a great location and put the money into this place to make it great. Clearly something right is going on here cause the place was sold out our whole trip.

Check-in process started off great; however, our room wasn’t ready and we were told that housekeeping was running behind and given a 20 minute wait time. We were ok with that. 30 min later, I approached the counter to check on the progress of our room and was greeted by Shannon. I asked if we would be compensated being that our room was 2 hrs past our check-in time. Her demeanor was unpleasant, unapologetic, and very condescending; she couldn’t be bothered. I made a comment stating, “you’re not very nice are you” she replied “I’m very nice, I’ve never had a complaint,” I guess I’m the first to complain about her. She then proceeded to give me our keys, and sent me through the elevator that would have us walk the entire of the 4th floor to get to our room. This has been the worst experience at a Hilton property. I get it, this is budget but, does the staff need to act budget! Hope her day gets better, and treats guests with respect, after all, she’s a representative of this establishment.

Enjoyed the full kitchen (though no pans available, it's possible they had them to check out but we borrowed from a friend), the happy hour, and the daily breakfast. Really offered a lot for the cost! The kids really loved it and it was close to everywhere we wanted to visit! Would stay again.

It was very convenient to all the places we like to go in SD. Ocean Beach, mission Beach, sea world were all minutes away. The service was great. Having breakfast and two evening meals included was also convenient and the food was family friendly and good. Service was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the suite we had was great for our family, having the full size fridge and a little bar to eat at.... Would be nice if there was a way to have 4 seats to eat, but overall very nice stay!!

We got there at almost 5 pm- our room was not ready, and we had to wait in the lobby. After driving long hours (road trip) and being at SeaWorld all day we just wanted to lay down. When I was in the shower I realized the body wash dispenser was out…. Disappointing when I am in the middle of a shower. Luckily, I had brought some, but had to run out the shower and look through my suitcase. I like that they serve dinner and breakfast. The food was okay. Perhaps I’d give this location another try next time.

The overall property is good and well maintained. I travelled with my family which includes me, my wife, my mother and 18 months old kid. Checkin was easy and room was good looking with amenities and tech. There was no room service that happened for the entire stay. Normally the policy is to have the room service every other day, unless specially requested for every day. I was ok with every other day but that did not happen. Traveling with a kid offocurse there will be diapers and trash should be taken out but service never happened. So i had to contact them 4 times at different intervals but no one showed up. On the 3rd night of the stay, i got service ppl knock my door at 9.35 pm when i was about to put the kiddo to sleep, so i said no to service and asked to remove just the trash. The next days after checkin i noticied dust on the countertop and when i look up the air vent is filled with thick dust like it was never cleaned. Same in the kitchen washroom as well. I waited flto let the service folks know but they never came. I should have told the front desk but in the hurry with the appointments during the vacation i did not follow up. I mentioned the same and showed the photo of the vent to the manager while checkout and she offered to remove the parking fees for all the inconvenience, i said that was nor required but they still did it. Defintely not something i would expect at Hilton. Lesson learnt, i will examine everything the next time i checkin to a hotel roo

I didn’t like that they charge for parking but isn’t enough parking for us to park in had to park on the red line where I saw multiple cars parked.
