"I booked a room through a 3rd party website and chose a king size bed pet friendly room as I was travelling with a small, non allergenic dog and I paid for the room at time of booking. When I arrived at the property, they had no record of the pet friendly room I booked. I was booked into a queen room (which wasn't what I paid for) and was told there would be an additional fee of $25.00 plus tax for my dog. My room was already over $200 with tax so I was not happy to pay an additional $25.00 pet fee for a 10 pound, non allergenic dog. The room had no hand soap in the bathroom (shower gel in the shower) and the bath towels were very thin and yellow in colour. The noise and light coming from the corridor made for very difficult sleeping. When I was packing the car, the room key wouldn't work and it took me 4 trips to the front desk to get the key to work. Having worked in the hotel business for 30 years, this hotel did not leave a good impression with me and I cannot recommend it as a place to stay."
