「It is a great hotel! Very spacious room and comfortable bed. It is not close to Palermo downtown (need an hour train) but just 20 mins walk to a beautiful beach or just 5 mins walk to an average beach. For us just spent two full days in beaches so no problem with a little remote from downtown. Do call the hotel to arrange pick up in the airport as the city taxi is much more expensive.」

「Hotel Ballaro is gorgeous; walking up the grand staircase into the hotel area almost feels like you could be a background character in Romeo and Juliet. Unfortunately, our room wasn't ready on our arrival, despite having sent our flight information ahead of time, and we were missed receiving the instructions on how to actually enter the building once we found it, but once that was sorted out, we had a lovely stay.」
