「The hotel from top to bottom was a great get away , the pool area was amazing.」

「Hairdryer only operated on low. Elevator was questionable. It jerked and often landed lower than the floor creating a step & possible tripping hazard. Front desk gentleman was alone and very busy, but went above and beyond to offer help if needed. He was very apologetic about the wait checking in even though we were not overly concerned.」

「I expect a typical “free breakfast” when I stay at a roadside hotel…scrambled eggs, sausage, an assortment of breads and cereals…the usual fare for such establishments. The bar is not very high. Unfortunately, Fairfield in Wheeling didn’t make it over the bar. The assortment of offerings was fewer than the average, and no breakfast meat, at all. When the expectation is pretty low to begin with, failure to meet the expectation is disappointing. You gotta pick up your game, Fairfield.」

「The stay was very disappointing. When we entered the room, the temperature was around 83°F, and it took 1–2 hours before the room temperature became comfortable. The bathroom had major issues — the toilet was clogged, there was a bad smell in the room, and the basin was also not working properly. I contacted the front desk to request assistance with fixing the toilet and basin, but no one came to address the issue. The receptionist only advised me to discuss the matter with the owner. 「Breakfast was great! The sign in the room said the rooms would be serviced every other day, but this didn't happen during our entire stay...multiple family members stayed there and had the same experience.」

「I can’t imagine this place being open in the near future. The walls are crumbling, entire sections of the roof were missing, there was a piece of plywood between the box spring and mattress I had to be careful I didn’t t break my toes on because it stuck out so bad, the water in the pool left a slimy scum on my skin, there was no remote for the tv, the blow dryer didn’t work, the chairs were so filthy I was afraid to sit down in them, the staff were clueless as to what was going on in the area...

「The room itself was clean. I did not care for the amount of grills sitting outside of other rooms and the amount of people hanging out outside of our room. Kids were running up and down outside of our room until late and started back up at 6 AM.」

「The hotel is getting dated. It is CLEAN, the bed is comfortable. Shower can be a bit wonky at peak use time. "Mine kept plunging to ice cold in the evening, the wife's was perfect in the morning" go figure.;-) The staff are more than pleasant and helpful. This is our 7th or 8th stay, Our mid-way point of the trip. Will stay here again I assure you.」

「The hotel is a great hotel they don’t do breakfast but do give you discounts for nearby restaurants which is nice. The walls are paper thin you can hear other peoples movements in surrounding rooms. But overall is pretty decent hotel」
