"Simply an amazing stay. We visited during off season and we were the only ones staying at the Guesthouse. Our room exceeded our expectations and the owner could not have been any kinder. They scrimped on nothing even though we were the only guests. We stayed over on a Saturday night and the small racetrack next door was making noise but it was only for a little while. "This place is heaven on earth. The rooms are large and stunningly well decorated. The staff is amazing. It's run like a high end game safari destination. Lots to see on the property's large private reserve. You won't find the diversity and huge numbers of game available in Kruger, Botswana, Namibia, etc. This is more of a place for people who have already had their serious safari experience and are looking for a gorgeous property for rest and relaxing and feeling pampered."

"No swimming towels made available, told to make use of our bath towels. Swimming pool was dirty with crickets and dead frogs in it. The bath towels are old and hard. The bedding is stained with old marks. Paint is peeling off walls in unit. No-one emptied dustbins over a 2 days stay even though we placed this outside. Wine glasses on the shelf cracked. Iron was rusted and marked out clothing. Remote control for gate not working. Did not need or want to hear Receptionist’s work history....
