「We had a great time! The location is perfect! It’s super close to the beach and town and after a long day on the beach, a dip in the pool is just what we needed! Love the island bands that play at the pool too! So festive and the staff was super nice and accommodating!」

「It's been a long time since we stayed at a B&B in Cape May. The Dormer House is in a good location and we walked to the beach, restaurants, and to meet up with tours. I really enjoyed our room because we had a sitting area, giving us space to watch a little TV at night and work out in the morning. The small refrigerator was also helpful. 」

「The amenities are great especially the heated pool. Cleaning crew were excellent and texted for our needs. Beach access and amenities are excellent. The staff at the desk need a little bit more personality in welcoming. They checked us in without telling us that the room was not ready and never texted that it was. Parking is very scarce.」

They called before our arrival to let us know we can come in early. 「Though we arrived early for check in, the hostess texted us when the room would be ready. She was very accommodating and none of our time was wasted. The room is convenient to both the beach and the Washington Street Mall. 」

「This was a great stay. Clean and modern hotel, friendly staff and nice amenities. We used a couple of their bikes to check out Cape May. The view was ocean from left to right from our room and the 3rd floor deck was a nice place to sit and watch the water. Also I noticed Hawaiian style music playing in the lobby - it really adds well to the Mahalo vibe. We would definitely recommend the place and look forward to returning.」

「The antiquity of the property was it charm.」

「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」
