"We stayed at this wonderful property in March 2026 as a family of four (two adults and two kids), and we could not have been more pleased. This charming two-story boutique hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Tamarindo. It manages to be incredibly central—just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops—while tucked away on a quiet side street that feels very peaceful. There is even a grocery store directly across the street for convenience, and the 24-hour security made the property feel very safe. The staff here are absolutely wonderful, treating guests with the personalized care of a small bed-and-breakfast rather than a standard hotel. We were particularly impressed by how extremely clean the entire property was kept. Our rooms were well-stocked with plenty of towels, coffee, and sugar, and the kitchen amenities had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also loved the breakfast included each morning, which featured traditional dishes, fresh fruit juices, and kid-friendly options like pancakes with maple syrup. When the Tamarindo heat became intense, the cool and refreshing pool provided the perfect relief. While parking inside the gated property is limited, we easily found a spot as many guests used local transportation. We highly recommend this gem!"

"Spacious and clean room, large tv, balcony overlooking the pool; large pool with swim up bar, 3 dining options; amazing location. Wonderful staff. This stay far exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant as I hadn't stayed AI for a few years. We were a group of 3 families with three 17 yr old seniors having their last HS spring break before they all head off to college. All inclusive for the teens to grab a bite to eat whenever they wanted was ideal and on paper, Margaritaville looked a great option. In the end, This break was perfect for them. One activity per day off site and then return to resort for an excellent steak sandwich and fries or taco was perfect! A clean pool and fantastic beach a minute from resort was amazing. The new Marina development a few mins walk away also gave us somewhere off site to have a choice if we wanted to eat or drink elsewhere. My son scuba dives and to be able to walk to OceanConnect was perfect. The hotel also arranged transportation for the 8 of us which took around 1 hour 20 mins from Liberia airport. Thanks to all at the hotel - you were wonderful. "

"Wonderful stay. Beachfront room was amazing. Property was secure, clean and great location. Light breakfast delivery to room so you could eat breakfast looking at the ocean was top notch! Pool was great as well!"

"Located in the center of town, street is very loud if you’re staying in the beachfront units. Very overpriced for what you get! Very overpriced. Bar staff was slow. Beach outside of the hotel not managed by the hotel and was dirty and had trash everywhere. Rooms in need of updating. Morning breakfast buffet was the highlight with great variety and good food. We will not stay here again. "
