「I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tangara Arenal. I booked the bungalow option, and it was a great choice. The bungalow was surrounded by plants and trees, with outdoor seating perfect for relaxing or reading while it rained—and when it rains, it pours! The metal roof made the sound of the rain noticeable, but I found it soothing, like white noise. We visited during the wet season and had the usual afternoon showers, but it never bothered us. 「Tiffany is so helpful for trip suggestions for local and nearby city like San Jose and Catargo. She help us find place for dilicious food, souvenir store, and place for coffee form CR. She also provide price info so we are assured. With affordablenprice, this place is 3 blocks away from market, central sqaure, and 5 blocks from bus station to San Jose. You can also take the bus to airport.」

「Un très bon service à la réception, la jeune fille a la réception nous a grandement aidé a réserver une activité avec un guide, et nous a accommodé pour que nous aillons le petit déjeuner plus tôt. Le petit déjeuner à la carte était très bon. Proche de la ville, mais assez éloigné pour la tranquillité. Les chambres sont confortables. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. 」

「We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Cipreses! The staff were so warm and friendly, and really made us feel at home. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. They were also very accommodating with our plans, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights was the night animal tour with Ellie. It was fantastic! We saw so many animals and the kids loved it. Highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and welcoming stay in Monteverde. 」

「I loved being in the mountains in nature. Beautiful property. There are bugs birds and even a chipmunk, lovely view. Simple Breakfast was included. A bit far from the city. Wifi was down when i arrived but i had backup. I would totally go back, it is a great escape and very reasonably priced. 」

「While it is not walkable to town, it is a beautiful, quiet, secluded oasis with a lovely garden, spectacular birds and an incredibly warm and helpful staff who helped us order dinner to be delivered and made us one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. We were sad to leave and will definitely return! 」

「Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast 」

「Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again 」
